The award was presented by Rajasthan's Industries and Commerce Minister, Smt. Shakuntala Rawat, during a state-level industry recognition program. The event was attended by senior government officials, including representatives from the Department of Industries and Commerce.
The company received the award in the Small-Scale Industry category based on its business performance and growth during the financial year 2019-20. Along with the recognition, the company was also awarded a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, the management highlighted Somi Conveyor Beltings' position as a conveyor belt manufacturing company serving various industrial sectors. The company also noted its presence on the SME platform of the stock exchange.
